From the T
Take the red line to Harvard Square. On emerging from the subway, cross Mass Ave and enter Harvard Yard, heading directly across the Yard and also bearing slightly left. Keeping Memorial Church on your right, emerge from the Yard in front of the Science Center, and turn right toward the Cambridge Fire Station. The South Asia Initiative is located inside the Center for Global and International Studies (CGIS) at 1730 Cambridge Street. Cambridge Street projects away from the Science Center and Harvard Yard, to the left of the fire station. 1730 is about one block up, a contemporary building on the right-hand side of the street. The conference and registration are on the lower level.
